The City of Alpine invites you to enjoy a night of Christmas cheer on Saturday December 21st!
Alpine get your floats ready for the Hometown CHRISTMAS Parade!
Participation has been so AMAZING we are giving awards to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place this year!
You do not need to pre-register!! Just check in at the big Christmas tree and join the fun. Parade line-up starts at 5pm and step-off is at 6pm. From there Alpine Police Department will lead the Hometown Christmas Parade through the heart of downtown Alpine with festive shops, art galleries and murals beautifully lit up for the holidays. The parade will go up Holland to 2nd Street then turn and stop at the Alpine Visitor Center at the corner of Ave E and 3rd Street.
Tune into KVLF 1240 to enjoy the parade set to Christmas music!
There will be a prize for the top float, and 2nd and 3rd place too.
The parade ends at the Alpine Visitors Center with a concert by the Alpine Community Band.
AND SANTA will be there too! After he rides in the parade everyone will get a chance to tell Santa what they want for Christmas and pose for pictures! Be sure to get treats and cookies from Mrs. Claus.
