The historic Castolon district has visitor services once again.
The area has been closed off to traffic and would-be hikers since May 21. Now, park officials have set up temporary facilities in the district to provide visitor services to this far-flung area of the park.
Visitors to the Castolon district are now able to buy concessions like cold drinks and snacks. The park is still in the process of setting up a visitor information center at the Castolon Ranger Station.
