Life-long calling for interim chief

By September 26, 2019No Comments

For Alpine native and law enforcement officer Darrell Losoya, the call to become a police officer for his hometown came at an early age. That calling led him to pursue a career in the military and ultimately lead him to where he is now, interim chief of police for the City of Alpine.

Losoya grew up with four siblings and parents Ruben and Josie, who managed restaurants in Alpine from 1961 until their retirement in 2000.

Losoya credits Dr. Barton Warnock as an early inspiration that lead him to a life of service to his country and his community.
