About 45 minutes north of the Sierra La Rana front gate you will be able to explore bird life on a slow one-mile nature walk through Limpia Canyon with experienced volunteers. Sign in to the Primitive Area at Ft. Davis State Park HQ. Meet the volunteers on the exit side of Park HQ, and then take a short drive to the Primitive Area. Over one easy mile we’ll slowly explore Limpia Canyon, which teems with high desert life. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars! No dogs, please.
