This walk is for all visitors, young or old who wants to learn about wildlife, the park, and its bird life. Bring water. 2hrs; easy trail walk. The Davis Mountains State Park is a designated Globally Important Bird Area bragging 365+ species of birds that have been documented here throughout the year, so you never know what you will see. This weekly survey allows birders a chance to find birds in their wild habitat, and by logging the bird list on the internet, allows future visitors to find out who’s flying and when!
