Precinct 1 commissioner, Jim Westermann updated the court about the recent 9/11 memorial observance hosted at the border patrol station in Alpine, which has a permanent memorial installation, a piece of the destroyed world trade center. The court gave approval for the acceptance of the SAVNS, or State Automated Victim Notification System, grant for 2024. This grant is for $3,106.95 and covers software that informs victims of incarcerated individuals about status changes of that individual, such as release dates
