Plans for a new brewery generated discussion at the City of Alpine regularly scheduled city council meeting on Oct. 19 Chisos Brewing Company, a proposed brewery that would start construction and design pending city building code requirements, would be in the 200 block of East Murphy, between Third and Fourth streets. At a recent meeting of the Alpine Downtown Association Lisa Fielder made a presentation, “We want it to be a world class facility, something that Alpine can be very proud of,” Lisa said. “We want to make this available for meetings, free for nonprofits, available to anybody in the community who needs to meet. We want it to be a gathering place for the community, open to all”. (Story on page 1)
