The City of Alpine held its regularly scheduled city council meeting on Sept. 20, and a proposed monument honoring women in the military, code enforcement issues, and a strategic plan for the city drove the discussions. Mural outside American Legion Post 79 in Alpine has an artistic rendition honoring women in the military.
