The 78th Annual Big Bend Livestock Association Show will start soon, and Alpine High School ag teacher Doug Fox is a prime mover behind the show and sale each year. Fox said activities were back to normal this year after some coronavirus-related concerns last year, noting that masks were optional and no restrictions were in place. The show begins on Friday, Jan. 7, with lambs at 9 a.m., goats at the conclusion of the lamb show, and steers after the goat show. All will show at the ag barn on West Del Rio Street near the middle school . (story on page 1)
