The 33rd Pioneer Reunion will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:30 am to 4:45 pm at Sul Ross State University in Alpine at the Espino Conference Center, Morgan University Center, SRSU campus. This meeting celebrates Big Bend history, families, conservation, and regional legacy. The speakers including Mike Boren, Ronny Dodson, Rick Gupman, Tom & Gary Osborn, and Madeline Johnson with Ben English as the emcee. Tickets include lunch and cost $25 for non-members and $20 for members and can be purchased by phone (432-477-2236) or at Panther Junction bookstore. This event is open to the public and organizers encourage anyone interested in Big Bend history and culture to attend.
