Trappings of Texas is the longest running wester art and cowboy gear exhibit and sale in the country. Established in 1985, at the museum of the Big Bend on the Campus of Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. Trappings showcases fine western art from paintings, sculptures and drawings to saddles, bits, spurs and more.
