Rain gardens at Kokernot

By August 26, 2021No Comments

The Environmental Services Department has been hard at work on the rain gardens project at Kokernot Park.  The project consists of rainwater catchment basins at two locations in the park to reduce flooding.  These projects will not only enhance and improve the park’s natural areas but also serve as training and educational modules for visitors, providing examples of water conservation rain gardens.
